Simcoe’s BIA is getting ready for the 13th edition of its downtown banners program. This year’s theme is the War of 1812, marking the 200th anniversary. Banners will be display on downtown lampposts beginning at the end of May. They will continue to be on display until October.
Anyone can design a banner. The BIA supplies artists with paint and a canvas. Contact the BIA office at 519-426-5150 or email director@downtownsimcoe.com. You can also visit the office on Peel Street.
The deadline for submitting completed banners is May 4.
